Rockstar has not published a single GTA 6 payout number. Everything below is a plan built on how GTA V and GTA Online paid out, not a leak and not insider info.

If a site is quoting you exact GTA 6 dollar figures right now, they made them up. We'll replace estimates with real numbers the week the game is in our hands.

Hour one: story missions, nothing else

Early story missions are the only guaranteed income in any GTA launch, and they unlock the systems that pay later. Do not detour into side content before the map opens up.

Bank what you earn. Do not buy the first flashy car you see, early-game prices are always the worst prices you'll pay.

Hours two to five: high-value vehicles

Rockstar confirmed an immobilizer-bypass mini-game for stealing luxury cars. Getting good at it early is the cleanest repeatable income in the opening hours.

Vice City's beachfront and the Keys marinas are where the expensive stuff parks. Grab, deliver, repeat while the police heat is still low.

Efficiency ranking, best to worst

1. Story missions, guaranteed payouts plus unlocks.

2. Luxury vehicle theft and delivery, repeatable and skill-based.

3. Random world events and stash finds, low effort, low ceiling.

4. Grinding low-tier side activities, fun, but the worst dollars-per-hour on day one.

What not to do

No shark cards on day one. You'll have nothing worth buying yet, and the economy shifts in the first patches.

No 'money glitch' videos, no third-party money services, no account sellers. That is how people lose their save and their account.

Anyone promising GTA 6 currency before launch is running a scam. There is no early access and no beta.
