Leonida Explained: Every Confirmed Region in GTA 6's Map
Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Mount Kalaga, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, a tour of the six confirmed regions.
The State of Leonida
GTA 6 takes place in the State of Leonida, Rockstar's take on Florida, centered on Vice City. Reporting from previews puts the map at roughly 1.5, 2x the size of GTA V's map.
Six regions have been officially confirmed. Everything below is drawn from Rockstar's official reveals, anything you see about specific side towns beyond these is community speculation.
Vice City
The flagship metro, Rockstar's reimagining of Miami. Neon strips, art deco hotels, high-rise towers, and the coastline that defines the game's identity.
Leonida Keys
A chain of tropical islands south of the mainland, think the Florida Keys. Bridges, marinas, dive spots, and a laid-back rhythm that plays very different from Vice City proper.
Grassrivers
A vast wetland modeled on the Everglades. Home turf for the brand-new Airboat / Fanboat, shallow water no other vehicle can cross.
Mount Kalaga National Park
Elevated, forested wilderness, the first mainline GTA area to lean this hard into a national-park biome. Expect hiking trails, wildlife, and off-road playgrounds.
Port Gellhorn
An industrial port town, cargo, cranes, warehouses. Classic Rockstar territory for setpiece heists and mission fireworks.
Ambrosia
A confirmed additional region in Leonida. Rockstar has kept specific details light, we'll flesh this out as they reveal more.
